Overview
If you are not receiving calls from the ButterflyMX intercom or visitors see a “No Answer” message, the issue may be caused by the Do Not Disturb setting being enabled in the ButterflyMX mobile app.
When Do Not Disturb is turned on, the app will intentionally block incoming intercom calls. This prevents the call from reaching your device, which can cause the intercom to display a No Answer message to visitors.
Why This Happens
The Do Not Disturb feature allows users to temporarily stop receiving visitor calls through the mobile app. When enabled, the system will not send call notifications to any device connected to the account.
This setting applies to all devices linked to the same ButterflyMX account, not just the device where the setting was enabled.
How to Turn Off Do Not Disturb
To start receiving calls again, disable the Do Not Disturb setting in the ButterflyMX mobile app:
Open the ButterflyMX mobile app
Tap Account
Select Calls
Turn Do Not Disturb off
Once this setting is disabled, incoming intercom calls should resume normally.
If the Issue Continues
If you continue to miss calls after turning off Do Not Disturb, additional troubleshooting may be required. In that case, contact support for further assistance.
