Mobile App Keeps Logging Out

Context:

It’s frustrating when you’re ready to get to work and find yourself staring at a login screen—again. If the Tenant app is frequently logging you out, follow this guide to troubleshoot the issue and get back to your day.

Step 1: Identify the Pattern

To help us narrow down the cause, take a moment to notice how often this is happening. Is it:

  • Every session?

  • Multiple times a day?

  • Occasionally/Daily?

Identifying the frequency helps determine if this is a session timeout setting or a technical glitch.

Step 2: Check Your Setup

Outdated software is the most common culprit for session stability issues. Please ensure the following are up to date:

  • App Version: Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to see if an update is available for the Tenant app.

  • Operating System (OS): Ensure your device (iPhone, Android, iPad, or Desktop) is running its latest software version.

Step 3: Troubleshooting Steps

If your software is current but the issue persists, try these steps in order:

  1. Update the App: If you haven’t already, install the latest version from your device’s app store.

  2. Perform a Clean Reinstall:

    • Uninstall the Tenant app from your device.

    • Restart your device (this clears temporary cache files).

    • Reinstall the app from the store.

    • Log back in using your credentials.
