If you're not receiving calls through the ButterflyMX mobile app, follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
1. Refresh Your Login (Access Token Issue)
Sometimes your session token may expire or encounter a verification issue. To reset it:
Open the ButterflyMX mobile app.
Go to the Account section.
Tap Sign Out at the bottom of the page.
Log back in using your credentials.
Test the app by having someone place a call.
2. Check Your Phone's Notification Settings
Notification settings on your device may be affecting call delivery. Here's how to verify and update them:
Open your phone’s Settings.
Tap Apps or Applications.
Select ButterflyMX.
Go to Notifications and ensure Show Notifications is enabled.
Confirm that categories such as General and Incoming Calls are active.
Make sure sound, vibration, and pop-up notifications are also enabled.
3. Test Your Internet Connection
Call delivery also depends on your network connection. Try the following:
If you’re on Wi-Fi and not receiving calls, switch to mobile data and test again.
If you’re on mobile data, switch to a Wi-Fi network and try again.
