How to monitor Cameras in Live Monitor

Context:

The following article walks you through how to monitor Cameras in Live Monitor.

What to do:

  • Live Monitor opens in its own window and displays live video from your cameras. Keep it open on a dedicated screen wherever you monitor the property.

  • From Live Monitor, you can:

    1. Set how many cameras appear per page

    3. Rearrange cameras by dragging them into position

    5. Hide camera names
  • Live Monitor displays up to 50 cameras.
  • Only one Live Monitor session can run per user at a time. If you open Live Monitor while it is already running elsewhere, you can close the other window or take over the session in the current one.
  • Your Live Monitor layout is saved for you in the browser you are using. Other users see their own layout, and your layout does not follow you to a different browser or computer. If you monitor the property from a dedicated screen, set up the layout on that machine.
