What to do:
1. Prepare for Replacement:
- Ensure the door is open and unlocked.
- Gather a T10 Torx bit screwdriver and three new AA alkaline batteries.
2. Remove the Inside Trim Cover:
- Locate and remove the screws securing the inside trim cover.
- Note: Depending on the lock model, there may be one or three screws
- Carefully lift off the cover to expose the battery compartment.
3. Replace the Batteries:
- Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
- Insert three new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated.
- Avoid using rechargeable batteries, as they may not provide consistent voltage.
4. Reassemble the Lock:
- Reattach the inside trim cover, aligning it properly.
- Secure the cover with the previously removed screws.
5. Test the Lock:
