Context:

The following article walks you through how to activate Maintenance Requests for your residents. 

Before You Begin

• Maintenance Agent (Beta) must already be activated for your property. If you haven't done this yet, see How to activate Maintenance Agent (Beta) as a Property Admin.

What to do:

1. After logging into the ButterflyMX OS with your admin credentials, click on "Maintenance Requests" in the left navigation bar.

   

2. If you haven't activated Maintenance Requests for any residents yet, you will see a banner notification at the top of the page. On the banner, click "Activate residents".

   

3. In the pop-up that appears, you will have the option to activate for all residents or manually select specific residents to exclude from activation. To activate for all residents, click "Activate all residents". 

   

4. If you decide to manually select which residents to exclude, click the expand, select which residents you would like excluded from the activation, and click "Next"

   

5. After clicking "Next", you will see the following success screen stating that the residents have been added
